Holdings are from U.S. 13F filings as of June 30, 2026 (filed mid-August). 13Fs are delayed, omit most shorts and non-U.S. names, and are not live. This is a research desk, not advice.

Apple, American Express, and Coca-Cola remain the core. Q2 was the first net buy in fourteen quarters: Alphabet was lifted to the third-largest sleeve. Bank of America was trimmed. Japanese trading houses sit outside the 13F but still matter to the whole Berkshire book.
Scion Asset Management

Deep value, crowded-trade shorts, concentrated books
As of June 30, 2026 · Small long book · options often dominate
The Big Short author files a thin, fast-changing 13F. Recent sleeves have mixed hard-value longs (managed care, apparel, student lending) with large put overlays on crowded AI names. Treat every line as stale the day after it prints — he trades around the filing.
As of June 30, 2026 · ~$14B · roughly a dozen names
A tight book. Uber, Brookfield, Microsoft, and Amazon now sit at the top. Microsoft was the new pillar earlier in 2026. Hilton was exited. Howard Hughes remains the idiosyncratic real-estate bet. One idea can move the whole fund.

The public book is still index-heavy (SPY, IVV, VOO). Underneath, Q2 leaned into semiconductors and mega-cap platforms: NVIDIA, Broadcom, Amazon, Alphabet, Lam Research, AMD. Hundreds of smaller country and sector sleeves sit behind the top ten.
Duquesne Family Office
Stanley Druckenmiller
Macro tape, concentrated conviction, fast rotation
As of June 30, 2026 · $5.2B · 95 lines
Natera is the oversized bet. Semiconductors (TSMC, STMicro, Broadcom) and biotech (Insmed) sit behind it. IBIT and YPF show the macro sleeve. He will empty a top-five name in a quarter — the 13F is a rear-view camera.
Appaloosa
David Tepper
Distressed roots, opportunistic mega-cap and cycle trades
As of June 30, 2026 · $7.7B · 27 names
Amazon and Micron are the twin pillars. TSMC, Alphabet, and Uber fill the growth sleeve. Q2 added Boeing, American Airlines, and CoreWeave while cutting Micron after a run. Top ten are about 79% of the book.
Icahn Capital
Carl Icahn
Activist control, energy, and his own vehicle
As of June 30, 2026 · $8.3B · 12 names
More than half the 13F is Icahn Enterprises. CVR Energy and CVR Partners are the energy core. Centuri and IFF are the outside activist stubs. He added IEP again in Q2 and cut the utility and airline sleeves.
The public trust (the old Cascade sleeve) is still Berkshire, Waste Management, Canadian National, Caterpillar, Deere. Q2 trimmed Berkshire and Waste Management and opened Home Depot. Microsoft is no longer the whole story.
ARK Invest
Cathie Wood
Disruptive innovation, high turnover, thematic ETFs

Tesla is still the flag. AMD, CRISPR, Shopify, Tempus, Robinhood, and Palantir carry the innovation stack. She trims winners and reloads laggards inside the same names — the 13F is a snapshot of a daily trading desk.
